CORE 4 STRETCHING
Today I want to speak briefly regarding how important it is to make time to stretch every week. Remember, gains are made during recovery from training rather than the actual training sessions. Stretching facilitates recovery and helps to keep you injury-free so that you can continue to push your body to the limit.
Understanding how to breathe is crucial during stretching. Our muscles contract every time we take a breath and relax every time we exhale. It is very important to use a stretch wave when going through a stretching routine. This means inhaling before the stretch and exhaling during the stretch, working your breathing at different angles.
