Since I can remember, I have had a passion for health and fitness. Sports played an integral role which took me to playing Big Ten softball at Michigan State University. I earned my degree in Exercise Science and started off my career in corporate wellness which allowed me to help others focus on their individual health.
My love for people and desire to help others become a healthier and stronger version of themselves lead me to personal training. I have spent 20+ years personal training, health coaching and coordinating corporate wellness programs which I feel has made me very well rounded in the field.
Nothing has been more fulfilling than seeing my clients achieve their goals. Whether it has been weight loss, more mobility, increased energy for work and life, rebounding from injury or finishing their first triathlon.
My own struggles with digestive and hormonal issues lead me to much nutritional research. Making that connection between our food choices and our overall health was life changing. Since then I have earned a Health Coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and a Plant Based Cooking certification from Forks over Knives. I love coaching clients to listen to their own unique bodies and what works for them. I truly believe our daily lifestyle choices can either lead us toward or away from preventable disease.
My love for continued education and personal training lead me to BBCT. I am excited to be a part of a team that has such a strong desire to learn from each other and help their clients succeed.
