There are a lot of philosophies regarding the healthy detox. Many people see these detoxes as a quick fix to lose weight/body fat, but that’s really not the point! Sure, weight loss may happen on a detox, however, there is more happening than just that. Our bodies already are equipped with detoxing organs, the main two being our kidneys and liver. These vital organs are working hard to get those toxins broken down and excreted in a healthy, natural way. But many times, these organs get backed up and the detox process gets interrupted. In detoxing we see 3 phases:

Sometimes our systems can get backed up with toxins and we can’t do the last phase, which is not good at all! We need to excrete the toxins otherwise they will recycle into our systems, making them even more toxic and unhealthy.
