Goal Setting
Getting The Most Out of 24 Hours
When it comes to goals in training, or life in general, everything comes down to what steps you take each day to achieve your goals.
Our team here at Body By Choice has been discussing goal setting, and how we can continue to work with clients to create better processes for goal achievement. What we have learned is that what one does outside of his or her training makes all the difference.
We all have 24 hours in day, but it all comes down to what we do with them.
If you have a goal of losing fat, for example, the daily processes needed for success center on diet, sleep and training in that order. Those three things work synergistically together.
Diet always seems to be the hardest but most crucial. Prepping food for tomorrow should only take about an hour or so. If you need help or guidance with this, our whole team is here to help.
Quality sleep can be tricky and is something that I personally struggle with, which is why it has become my biggest priority. If stress or circumstances in your life are causing anxiety and keeping you up at night, then combat those situations head on and improve your quality of sleep. We can even suggest supplementation with GABA, magnesium or RestoREM to help get you off to a good start.
Ignoring a process critical to one’s goals will only derail progress.
Our team works hard to program your training for your specific goals. We also continue to educate ourselves with new research and ideas in order to better serve our clients’ unique needs.
At the end of the day your success is determined by what you do with your 24 hours, and how you use them to accomplish whatever stands in your way of building muscle, losing fat or just getting stronger.
